April 20, 2016

The Carnegie Office is pleased to announce that we are adding an engineering intern to the staff.

Introducing Brien Hansen

Brien Hansen is currently completing his junior year of studies at the University of Pittsburgh School of Engineering. Brien is majoring in mechanical engineering and will complete his studies in 2017, attaining his bachelor’s of mechanical engineering (BSME) degree.  Brien will be joining Industrial May 2nd after completing final exams and will be assisting the engineering staff in Carnegie and Fairmont during the summer months.

Brien Hansen Industrial ResourcesBrien is from the Philadelphia area where he attended Central Bucks West High School, participating in the National Honor Society. He achieved Eagle Scout rank, and served as Senior Patrol Leader for the Troop, contributing to the renovation of a Battered Women’s Shelter for Eagle qualification.

While studying at Pitt, Brien found time to co-create “The Panther Flyfishing Club,” which has grown quickly since its founding in 2015.

Brien is really looking forward to applying his mechanical engineering skills to the real-world equipment that we put into market every day. We expect Brien will be performing mechanical conveyor calculations very quickly.
